1. What is the Gospel?
Answer: 2 Corinthians 5:21
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin;
that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
2. Who is "He who knew no sin"?
He is the 2ND Adam - (the 1st Adam sinned). We are all in the 1st Adam by virtue of our physical birth. - Whey the 1st Adam sinned, death entered in and in dieing Adam died. But God (Elohim), did not leave his highest and most beloved creation, man, hopeless, he preached the Gospel to him and his wife and the enemy who tricked and tempted the man to disobey and sin. Elohim told the serpent he would put enmity between him and the woman, between his seed and her seed. - He said "the seed of the woman would bruise the serpent's head (the enemy) But the serpent would bruise the seed of the woman's heel. - Then he sealed the deal for Adam and Eve by making coats of skins for them to cover their nakedness- replacing their attempts to clothe their nakedness with sewn fig leaves. -- That is the first account of the gospel in history. - THE GOSPEL! - Elohim would send a redeemer - that whosoever believes on him would not perish but have everlasting life. This redeemer- "2ND Adam" was to be perfect and without blemish, absolutely sinless so the enemy would have nothing in him! - (Only an unblemished and equal "pre-sin" Adam would qualify as a payment for the wages of sin.) This redeemer would therefore qualify to redeem mankind and pay the penalty with his perfect life for the 1st Adam's sin. YESHUA passed every test and was the perfect sacrifice. ABBA our great heavenly Father sent his son Yeshua, as the perfect sacrifice to die in our place and receive in his body the judgement of God for our sins, past- present-and future.
And this is the GOOD NEWS- All we have to do is BELIEVE and RECEIVE - even Yeshua said: "Only Believe" - All men everywhere need only to believe the gospel, Repent (change their minds) and receive the gift of righteousness, and salvation by grace with thanksgiving and praise. - jew, gentile, bond, free, male,female there is no difference - all of us have sinned and come short of the glory of God- The bible says that it would come to pass that WHOSOEVER calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved!- Stop what your doing and call upon the name of the Lord - You will be saved! It's really very simple: He who HAS the Son has life and he who has not the Son HAS NOT LIFE. So quick check, do you have the Son? God's precious Son? Yeshua Ha Maschiach, Jesus of Nazareth, the Lamb of God?
Are you depending on your OWN righteousness, your own lamb, your own good works ?
According to the scriptures the "best of the best" of what you can do is not good enough, doesn't qualify or meet the demands of judgment and justice. - Time is short and we only have this life to make our choice- CHOOSE LIFE!
